We are delighted to announce that our head of energy insight Andrew Bradshaw has been selected to join the Energy Leadership Platform - the world's first think tank for senior communications professionals working across the energy industries.
Andrew has been appointed as a member of the ELP, an organisation set up by the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) to engage with the key issues that matter to the energy industry nationally and internationally. It also creates high level content, contributing to the wider energy debate in the UK and globally.
The ELP is an international community of qualified senior communications advisors with significant experience of advising the energy industry.
A former PR account director at Fifth Ring, Andrew had to undergo a thorough, two-stage interview process to prove his deep understanding of the energy industry in its widest sense and the specific PR value he could bring to the ELP before being accepted.
He said: "The energy industry has been a passion since I joined Fifth Ring as a PR account manager more than 16 years ago. Understanding its complexities and communicating these effectively to a wider audience through PR inspires me, and Fifth Ring has encouraged my enthusiasm through structured training and continual support.
"When I learned of the ELP I knew I had to do my best to join and I was absolutely overjoyed to be accepted. I'm really looking forward to addressing the most important issues affecting the modern energy industry with the other members, contributing with my own energy and PR insights and creating valuable, thought provoking content to advance the global energy debate."
