Successful streak continues as Fifth Ring is listed as one of the best places to work in the media and marketing sector in the UK
Fifth Ring, the international B2B marketing specialist, has today been listed as one of the very best places to work in the highly competitive world of media, marketing and advertising by Great Place to Work™.
The Aberdeen headquartered agency, which has offices in Singapore and Houston, is delighted to be one of the very few companies across the whole of the UK to make the 2024 UK's Best Workplaces in Advertising, Media & Marketing list.
Fifth Ring received the Great Place To Work® certification earlier this month, recognising the high standards of the company’s positive and supportive culture and commitment to colleagues’ learning and development.
The ranking was based on the Great Place To Work® UK research-backed Trust Index© employee survey, which asked employees to comment on how their company supports their work-life balance, sense of fulfilment, job satisfaction, psychological safety and financial security. Evaluations also included an assessment of how well the organisation was able to deliver consistency of their employee experience across all departments and seniority levels.
Ian Ord, founder and CEO of Fifth Ring, said: “We are absolutely delighted to be named as the marketing agency world is a highly competitive space and to be recognised on the list is a fantastic achievement for our company.
“A good working environment is about the people and culture, not gimmicks like ball pits or sleeping pods. True value comes from fostering a positive atmosphere where meaningful work thrives. We believe that creating a workplace environment based on trust, inclusivity and collaboration allows our people to flourish and drives our company’s success. Appearing on this list also validates the company's ability to deliver outstanding value, foster trust and inspire continued growth for our clients.”
This announcement follows recent awards successes for the agency including B2B Marketing naming Fifth Ring in the top 20 of the world’s largest UK-headquartered B2B marketing agencies this year.
Ord continued: “The past year has been one of remarkable growth and achievements for Fifth Ring. We have achieved an impressively high level of award successes and industry recognition – it is great for staff morale when we can celebrate shared accomplishments. Our success is a testament to the dedication and passion of our team and the loyalty from our clients. We remain committed to achieving results, delivering exceptional value and continuing our upward momentum as one of the UK’s Best Workplaces."
Great Place To Work® explained that only those employers who have the highest levels of trust, job satisfaction and who empower all their employees to thrive both in and outside of work, are awarded official Best Workplaces™ recognition.
Benedict Gautrey, Managing Director of Great Place To Work® UK, said: “Advertising, media and marketing cover a dynamic sector heavily influenced by rapidly changing consumer behaviours and emerging tech. Leaders at the UK’s Best Workplaces acknowledge that there will always be parts of one’s job which will cause stress, and which cannot be changed – such as the fast-paced landscape of certain industries. As such, these organisations champion a multi-faceted wellbeing strategy which is integrated within their company culture and everyday ways of working. From mental health and psychological safety to job design and fulfilment at work – these organisations have implemented effective, holistic strategies able to target all dimensions of employees’ wellbeing, leading to a healthier, more engaged workforce. Congratulations Fifth Ring for creating a truly ‘great’ workplace.”
